Is it true that trimming or cutting my baby's eyelashes will make them longer and thicker??

The hair is made of keratin and trimming away the ends of the hair will not make it grow longer as the follicles are not stimulated. It appears thicker because the thin, tapered ends of the eyelashes are cut so the tip of the eyelashes appear longer. Moreover, babies move a lot, so putting a pair of scissors so close to her eyes is dangerous when she may just jerk and injure her eyes. http://www.top10homeremedies.com/home-remedies/home-remedies-to-grow-thicker-and-longer-eyelashes.html

I've heard of this myth and sincerely genuinely do not buy it. Our hair on our heads don't grow any faster after a haircut so same theory applies. Also, why would you wanna risk your baby's eyesight for her to look a little prettier?

A baby's lashes are as genetically passed down as hair color and curlyness. Thus, it won't help it to grow longer even if you trim it.

Actually ginagawa to ng mga tita ko with their babies pero haven't tried with my baby ang scary kasi gupitan.

thanks

Why would you even consider this my dear :(
