Hi mummies, I understand when it’s second trimester we need to eat other supplements

I’m thinking to buy from iherb instead of getting from Gynae. Any advice which are the essentials and any recommendations? Thanks

Doc prescribed 2 supplements: obimin multivitamin (with folic acid) and DHA 250mg (baby’s first) for week 12 onwards during my visit in week 9. Before that was prescribed folic acid (till week 12). I think best to consult doctor. S/he will advise according to your needs. Also if you want to take any additional supplements, suggest to bring them with you to check with doctor in your next appointment. There are side effects for overtaking supplements. 😊

I think it's still better to consult your gynaecologist on what supplements you should take. No need to get these from the hospital(:

Okay thanks ! Now currently not eating any yet so I was wondering :)

Super Mum

There’s no essentials when it’s supplements. Hence called supplements. 🤪

Best to consult your gynae, as he/she will be the best person to advise you.
