I'm taking pills even I don't I a child. Is it possible for me to get ovarian cancer or ovarian cyst ?

I had my ovarian cyst without taking pills. I took some pills and maintained it 6 months and it helped me regularized my mens. As far as i know it wont but it is better to ask your ob.
