37 weeks and worried baby is breech

Hi, im quite worried that my baby is breech because my tummy is weirdly shaped like as tho baby is in transverse position. And the kicking are all over the place. This is my 3rd pregnancy but i kinda feel like its a bit diff eventho i can’t really recall if this is normal. My last scan at 32weeks were all ok. And there wont be anymore scans after this as mine is subsidised SGH. Did anyone go thru the same as me and baby really breech?? Will the doc try to turn the baby? TIA

Hello! I’m not sure if my experience helps, but I hope it does! For me my baby boy was breech all the way during my entire pregnancy.. we did try different stretches and exercises daily to encourage him to turn but, his stubborn bum is apparently really comfy in whatever position he’s in 😅 There was an option for some turning procedure (i forgot the name of it), but as my placenta placement is anterior, there is a risk for my baby in case of any complications due to the force needed to turn baby. I contemplated for abit but I decided not to do it, as I’m terrified of hurting my boy. (Drs did mentioned that it is only a 50/50 chance it’ll work) I ended up scheduled for a csect instead. In my opinion, the most traumatic event of my life. But the drs were extremely skilled and professional, constantly encouraging me throughout the entire process and the nurses were talking and holding my hands. With the help of my hubby and family support, recovery was smooth and I have a healthy baby which is what really mattered. Hopefully my story doesn’t scare you regarding your pregnancy or anything. Every pregnancy is different and there are different options to consult your hospital with. 🤗 If touch wood, baby still breech at the end of the day, I hope my experience encourages you to not shy away from other forms of delivery that is not “natural” 😌 after all, we are still giving life to something we prayed so hard for to have! 🥰 Good luck mama, have a safe delivery!

Thank you for sharing! Appreciate it very much. In my head is just I’m supeeeer scared of c-section. Just thinking of it make me shiver. My post partum recovery with normal delivery was horrible and I can’t imagine women who had to go thru csec. You all are super women. & yes thank you for reminding that natural is not the only way. As long as everyone is safe, its all that matters 💛

I felt the same too! My bump was sideways? But nope baby still head down! Cause my gynae told me once theyre head down, they wont really turn any other way cause no mote space. And yes mine kicks here and there!
