I'm going back to work in a couple of weeks and I'd like to continue breastfeeding. What's the best way to do this?

It will be good if you can continue to keep to your pump schedule. If not what you can do is to make your breasts learn how to store milk more efficiently. By dragging out your pumps, you may be able to pump more per session. Supply may dip initially but doing power pumping regularly or daily can help you to keep your supply in check. Ensure that you have enough milk in your stash for your caregiver to feed your baby for the day. Then make sure that you pump enough milk to replace the supply daily. As and when you are with your baby, continue to latch for feeds. Your schedule may look like this: 6am latch baby before going to work 8am pump before work starts 12nn pump during lunch 3pm pump during teatime (if your office allows) 6pm pump before leaving office 8pm and subsequent feeds to latch till morning It will be good to have a hands-free pumping bra or pumping with a Freemie collection cup so that your hands are free and you can continue to do what you are doing, be it eating or working.

if you work near your daycare you can take breaks and feed your baby or you can use a breast pump to store your breastmilk and then feed your baby later
