Working mom

Im a first time mom. This first pregnancy really made me feel super lazy. Did anyone of you actually feel the same and eventually decide to resign from your job?

In my first pregnancy too and yes, always feel exhausted and lazy. It doesn't help tt my work requires me to be on my feet alot as I'm a teacher. Asthma also worsens. Had thoughts of resigning but glad tt I've great colleagues who have been giving motivation. And I don't think I'm ready to give up my career and the income. Even if your husband cld support your fam comfortably, I feel it's better to have more as supplement because having children in SG is definitely expensive. Unless there is a real need for us to stop working e.g taking care of special needs child or elderly, I think we shld continue working.

My first pregnancy was much easier, no morning sickness and was energetic. However, I can only count my blessing that now we are WFH mostly for this 2nd pregnancy. I took my lunch time to rest and since I dun have much appetite, I took light bites thru working hours. I also talk to my colleague and boss to manage workload or expectation and the support helps a lot. Talk to hubby too, he helps me with my no1 and housework. Jiayou fellow mummy!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

yes, working mom vry tiring esp when the belly getting bigger. vry lazy to move around..i experience this myself.. feel so emotional esp vry bad colleagues always bully me eventhough im pregnant, dump me with lots of works

Me too after confinement ends 2 months back but think back i do not wanna give my husband too much pressure so i decided to continue working

I became super lazy and no motivation to work. As i’m in the events industry, I’m currently working purely on project basis.

Yup..I quit and become a SAHM with my beautiful baby girl, my husband also supportive of my decision (:
