First time Mom: To resign or not to resign?

I'm a first time mom to be and will be due on Dec. We're living together with my husband away from both our sides. Working po ako as an admin assistant and soon to be assigned as executive assistant sa highest ranked Manager ng aming company.

In my case, I resigned from my job. My job is in sales and I was back and forth to the office and different buildings/sites. My pregnancy wasn’t smooth as others so I decided to resigned from my job and now my baby is 6 months old already. I’m a full time mom to her. I witnessed her first word, first tummy time, first closed open.. all her firsts. I realized that you can always build up yourself and the career that you always wanted to pursue. But you have to remember that your child needs you more than anyone. It’s important to be present to them all the time. Financially speaking, I think it is a matter of you and your partner’s decision.
