pregnant wife 10 weeks bleeding

I’m a first-time dad here and I’m honestly a bit anxious. My wife is currently 10 weeks pregnant, and for the past few days she’s been spotting — like light bleeding, sometimes reddish, sometimes brownish. It’s not heavy, but it happens almost every day now. She says she feels okay otherwise – no cramps or anything – and we’ve already booked a check-up, but that’s only in a few days’ time. Just wondering if any other mummies or daddies experienced this? Is this normal or should we be more concerned? She’s been trying to rest more, I’ve been helping with housework and trying not to stress her out. But I can’t help feeling a bit scared lah… We had a miscarriage once before and I just don’t want to go through that again. Appreciate any advice or similar experiences. Thank you 🙏

My wife bled a little every few days during her early pregnancy. We were very kan cheong, but the gynae said it’s normal as long as no pain or big clots.

Hang in there, papa.... I know it’s scary especially if there’s past trauma. You’re doing the right thing by being present and calm for her...

Hope everything’s okay. Please update us after your check-up. We’ve been there and it’s truly nerve-wracking. Take it one day at a time 💕

Hi papa! It’s not uncommon. Just make sure she’s well hydrated, no vigorous activities, and plenty of rest. Hope you both get good news soon!

I bled almost every other day until week 12. Gynae gave me hormone pills and told me to rest. Baby is now a strong 2-year-old boy 💪

Same boat last year. Brown spotting freaked us out. But doc said it’s just old blood. Pregnancy is really different for every mum.

Consider stopping those pregnant multi vitamins pills. It works for me.
