I'm embarrassed about this.... But how do I breastfeed my newborn when she can't latch on properly because I have extremely engorged boobs and pretty flat nipples? She has a hard time drawing out the nipple and I'm afraid I'll suffocate her.

Maybe you can use nipple shields for the time being? But in the long run she might not want to feed without it. You could also try a manual pump to try to get the nipple out or even ice cubes? https://breastfeedingbasics.com/articles/flat-or-inverted-nipples
