Hi all I'm 27 weeks pregnant, am having diarrhoea, can take Imodium?

My doctor GP just prescribe this to me today. I'm having diarrhoea and lower abdomen left side pain. Call gynea she also like don't know ask me see gp. Is yours issue by doctor?
