Drinking Pineapple Juice Good Or Bad?

So is pineapple really bad for pregnancy or is it just pantang? I don't eat and my MIL mock at me for being pantang. Would appreciate comments please.

My Gynae advised no Pineapple and Papaya throughout the pregnancy. I love Pineapple but no choice.
