If edd is in Jan 2020, is it considered too early to buy big items from baby fair in Oct?

u are not too early. my edd in Jan 2020 too! i bought the big items already like sterilizer, stroller, breast pump, diapers etc.. i left the small items (towel, toys, wipes, detergent etc) to buy in Nov'19.
