Ideal ba ang magbarko kesa mag eroplano papunta sa Boracay?
For me yes from batangas port it takes almost 8 hours travel to caticlan port . Its more cheaper that plane though so makakatipid kayo . If mayron kayong dalang bata its more convenient kasi hindi sya ma papagud sa byahe kasi chill lang trip nito . But one thing make sure na pag nag barko kayo see to it na hindi masama ang panahon check always the weather forecast bago mag travel .
Magbasa paif the question is "ideal", para sakin hindi. Masyadong hassle to travel several hours and ang purpose mo is to enjoy and relax. Most likely pagdating mo ng Boracay, pagod and gusto mo na lang muna matulog. So sayang pa din ang ilang oras na dapat ngeenjoy na kayo. :)
Depende sa time ninyo. If you leave Batangas port early evening, you will be in Caticlan around 6am the next day. So parang natulog ka lang. Pero syempre, counted pa din yun sa vacation time ninyo. Though mas cheaper ng konti sa barko lalo na if walang seat sale.

If you're going there with your young children, hindi ideal magbarko kasi nkakapagod ang ilang oras na byahe. But if your purpose is mala-cruise style and you're with friends, I guess it would be fun.
I would go for a plane ride than magbarko. Personal preference since i do have motion sickness. It's also way way faster. Just plan ahead and look for promos para sulit ang byahe.
Sayang ang oras! Isang araw na byahe sa barko kumpara sa isang oras sa eroplano. Madami ka ng magagawa doon. Pati, hindi naman ganoon kalaki ang deperensya sa presyo ng ticket.
For me, not worth it yung barko kasi nakakapagod tas antagal pa. Plane is more expensive but your time and comfort is worth it
