I want to make some homemade snacks like the Gerber puffs as finger food for my daughter -- any recipe suggestions?

I'm guessing your daughter is above 6 months old since she's eating the Gerber Puffs? If that's the case, you can try making baked sweet potato fries. They're nutritious, easy to make and a hit with pretty much any child I know. They're soft enough to be eaten by toddlers. You can find a simple recipe in the link below along with a few others. I usually add a dash of cinnamon sugar if I'm making them for older toddlers. http://posts.mode.com/baby-led-weaning-savoury-recipes-6-months/
