I want to make a tattoo. I would like to know that does it hurt much? And should I buy those creams that tattoo artists suggest to take after the tattoo is being done?

Hey Zaara...it DOES NOT hurt :) I have 7 tats and I am set to get my 2 this week again. it is not really a pain but more a type of sensation, as if you have a lot of ants biting you at the same place. also, if you do it over the bone or the nerve, then it hurts a bit but nothing that you cannot take. the cream that you should use is a simple calendula cream. this is available at all chemist stores and comes in a yellow tube. don't go for anything else. i have used this for ages now and my tats are superbly maintained and my skin has remained happy too

Well! Al the best for getting the quirkiest and perfect art. Yes, it does hurt a bit because after all there would be a needle pricking into your body, but it wouldn't hurt so much that you won't be able to bear it. I haven't got any tattoo done but my husband has three, and I was with him during that time, and he was just fine. The initial inhibition or the fear of the prick is what makes one anxious, but once its done, it goes smooth. I suggest do not look at the part where it is being done. http://www.inkedmag.com/8-tips-make-tattoos-hurt-less/
