Actually once you're pregnant, you'll need about an extra 300 calories more. So it's good to eat a bit more than what you used to eat. If you're eating well, with good appetite and all, you'll definitely gain some weight throughout the pregnancy. Don't stress about it though, because it's normal for ladies to lose a bit of weight during the 1st trimester especially those who's struggling with symptoms like bloatedness/nausea/vomitting/heartburn. Usually, it's recommended to take smaller but more frequent meals to help when you're having poor appetite due to pregnancy symptoms.

My appetite is actually lesser as compared to pre-pregnancy as there is some food i can't consume.
