Baby will be full term only at week 37. Did your doctor suggest to induce now or is it your call? If it's doc's, then ask what is the need if everything is normal? I mean does he foresee any complications if waited. If it's your wish and there's no complications then it's better to wait longer. I personally feel the best time is when the baby himself decide to come. At my week 37's scan doc said baby's weight is around 3kg n by week 40 may be around 3.6kg n natural birth may be difficult. Since it's my first pregnancy too, it's better to be prepared to be induced in week 39. But that scan was at doc's room. And I was called for detailed scan next week. I was sure the baby's weight was in the optimal range as it was through out since the beginning. And at week 38, baby was 3.1kg n doc said by week 40 will be less than 3.5kg so no need to induce. I'm currently 39 week n have scan tmrw. Can't wait for the latest update ☺️

But why? I will advice you to wait for full term at least at 37 weeks. You can try for natural labour. 37 wks is already full term and you can or may give birth at any time from there. Try walking on curbs (1 leg on curb, 1 leg down), lots of walking & squats to help you dilate

I will be induced after week 38 due to baby’s weight already at 3.3kg at week 36. If there are no concerns, wait till full term at week 37. Ideally gynae should advise if at all inducing is needed. Also inducing can be very painful

Consult ur gynae is best, depending on ur condition as well if u need to be induced. Otherwise just wait for baby to be ready and go for natural birth if u can

if there's no problem to your pregnancy thers no need to enduce because they say its better to deliver if the baby is full term and develop evrything .

Full term is considered at 37 weeks . But if your gynae says everything is well , then you can go for it

we shouldn't be the ones commenting on this. it should be your gynae

Lungs are still developing, pls wait till at least 37w unless there is life threatening reasons.

I think it is better to wait first and also keep consulting the gynae. All the best mum :)
