Abacus class

I sent my child to CMA. It's been 2 term she completed and still on going. I realized that without abacus it difficult for child to calculate and subtract. My question is . Is it worth continuing the CMA as my understanding Pri 1 they don't learn abacus in school. My child is 6 years old. Need some thoughts and advise from u mummy. Thnx u

I train my daughter to do simple mental sums for small numbers, and to draw and count the bigger numbers.. I think that might be a bit more aligned with the primary school style
