I am now in my second trimester. encountered red scratches at my hip areas (upper part of my thighs) on each side. Is this normal and caused by stretch marks? Can I apply anything or just let it heal on its own?

I used normal Palmer's cocoa butter when I was pregnant, but I totally recommend Bio Oil! (still love using it now even thought my marks are barely visible anymore) You can get at Watson's: http://bit.ly/2fBvoCc When I was pregnant, my stretch marks were reddish/ purplish? And I only focus on the parts I thought were obvious or were showing (eg: front of my belly and not sides) This is not advisable cos any skin that experiencing stretching, when bouncing back, will show stretch marks.
