neck shoulder muscles strain

Hi i need suggestion, currently i am 26 weeks pregnant and having very bad neck shoulder muscles strain,cant move my neck its been 10 days,went to gp he gave me vintogin cream to apply but its still the same, what should i do now? Is it bad for pregnancy?
