I need opinions and suggestions.. Currently 29 weeks. Went for checkup earlier tdy. Took glucose test & nurse called back in the evening saying my results are out & my sugar lvls are quite high & they want me to go back on Thurs for full day monitoring from 8-530pm to make sure everyth is ok. This is my 2nd pregnancy. W my 1st, i didnt take any glucose test and had a natural birth w/o epi. But this time round i have to do it becos they said compulsory. Idk whether to go on Thurs or just tell them idw to be monitored & continue with my pregnancy till i give birth. (I was thinking who wont get high blood sugar after drinking the glucose water.) Will it cause any harm to me and my baby? Do i need pay more attention to it? Any mothers who have GD during pregnancy do u do anyth? Idk im confused :/

My first and second preg, I didn't got GD, But I got it for my third preg :(( most likely will have to buy the monitor to self test and control diet. That's what I'm advised to do too, currently 30 weeks
I opted for finger prick test for blood glucose level at every doctor's visit instead of the Glucose Tolerance Test. Maybe you can suggest this see if your doctor agrees? Mine did, thankfully.
akin din tumaas at nrequired ako ng brown rice dahil hindi naman ako mahilig matamis pero sabi baka daw rice ang reason dahil malakas ako mag rice kaya brown rice nako now...
they are testing for how your body breaks down the glucose & also, every pregnancy differs, first pregnancy no GD doesn’t mean future ones won’t have

it's important mommy to go back and have yourself checked because having high sugar might cause an effect to your pregnancy and especially to baby

please go.
patients with GD are considered high risk for baby.
It's mean your body is unable to handle the high glucose level well.
I think just go with the recomendation with the monitoring. Every pregnancy is unique and its better to be safe than sorry..
Yes its very important to go get yourself monitored . Its only for 1 day and its dangerous for your baby
