Gender disappointment

I know I shouldn't be, but I can't help with why I couldn't get a boy this time round. Feel sorry for my baby girl that her mother feels this way.

I feel that it's alright to hope for a specific gender. You're disappointed not at your child,but at the fact that what you hoped for didn't happen. These are 2 different things entirely. You don't love your child any less just coz she's not your preferred gender, and that is the key thing.
