I have recently been diagnosed with a single uterine fibroid/polyp which is around 1 cm in diameter. Does anyone know a non - surgical cure for the same? What harm can the fibroid do to me? Is it treatable? Btw, I am mother of a 2 year old.

About 80 percent of women have fibroids and it is not a thing to worry. And most of the women do not even know they have fibroids until the go for some check up or get to know during their pregnancy. I do not know whether home remedies really work to get rid of them but doctors say that the fibroids shrink after menopause. They have to be surgically removed if they are causing trouble. I also fibroids in the wall of the uterus, but they do not cause any problem. Infact, I have not only one but many small fibroids. They are not causing any trouble so I am not removing the, Consult your doctor and I do not think he will advice you surgery if you are not facing any problem because of them. http://www.top10homeremedies.com/home-remedies/home-remedies-fibroids.html http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com/remedy/Fibroids.html https://www.informationvine.com/index?qsrc=999&qo=semQuery&ad=semD&o=603529&l=sem&askid=47082c9d-3f1c-4687-8e6f-4c0a841a5380-0-iv_gsb&q=home%20remedies%20for%20fibroids&dqi=&am=broad&an=google_s But please take advice from your homeopathic, Ayurvedic or allopathic doctor before trying anything.

Thanks Chetna for your answer. I am reassured to know that I am not the only person to get these fibroids and there are many women who are fighting with the issue. It is only the surgery thing that I am worried about.
