Newborn avoiding eye contact

Hi I have a newborn a week old. She seems to avoid eye contact at times and just focuses on another spot. Should we be concerned? #1stimemom #firstbaby #eyecontact

Don't worry, newborns still can't see clearly! But soon at 2 months she wld be able to see things a couple of inches away and shld be able to react to familiar faces.

Don’t worry. All they see is a blur. They can’t focus . It will get better . If you are concerned. Raise this up when u bring baby for the jab

At one week old, her eyesight is not great yet. So don’t worry so much:) this should improve in a couple of weeks
