Switching of BM to formula

Hi I have been expressing milk for my newborn. He is now in week4 since birth. Wanted to switch the formula milk. Has been feeding him Breastfeed for his first two meals starting of the day. And in the noon I let him drink formula milk. Should I continue throughout the rest of the feeding or can I switch between breast milk?
