I have a almost 7 week baby whom I always nurse her to sleep during midnight feed. She would suckle for 5-10 min before she drifts back to sleep again. Sometimes suckling time less than 5 min. She wakes up every 2 hours. I wonder if she eats enough this way? Should I wake her up or let her sleep?

Studies have shown that breastfed babies between 1 to 6 months take in an average of 25 oz or 750 ml per day. As long as your baby gets that amount of milk thereabouts, there is no need to wake baby up - it should be okay :) if she's still hungry, she'll let you know (eg crying or nuzzling at your breasts)
