yes Tina that's a very possible thing that can happen. your baby may get extremely habituated and may not want to give it up. also, it's not good for dental and oral health overall. my friend's baby got so addicted that getting him off it had become almost impossible and till almost 3 years he couldn't sleep or go out without it
