is this inclusive of doctors' fees and baby's stay in the nursery? looks about right actually 'cos private is really much higher though. my friend who gave birth at KKH also had around the same bill as you. my bill from Mt E Novena this year is around $17k inclusive of 2 nights' stay, doctors' fees and nursery stay for bb. after Medisave my out-of-pocket is only slightly below $13k. I had assisted forceps delivery btw.
are you subsidised before switching to private for A1 ward for delivery or private all the way? does this bill include the monthly consultation etc or only for the delivery portion? natural vaginal delivery?
Depending on delivery method, after Medisave 7k+ seems reasonable to me. I have friends in private chalking up to $20k due to emergency csect.
My friend Mount E natural delivery (only stay 1 night). She told me hers around 14k before medisave deduction.
what's the antennal claim of 3k plus for? before delivery also charging le omg
