Abnormal blood count

Hi, I just checked my blood test result (full blood count) through nuh app and it seems concerning... I have higher white blood cells and slightly low red blood cells. The conclusive result is full blood count abnormal. Anybody have similar results? Is it of major concern?

My blood is exactly the same plus severe anemia. It's quite normal to have higher WBC, the body may be thinking your pregnancy is an infection. Not a major concern at all, all blood morphology is considered in tandem, individual readings are less important than the combination of all readings together. Take your prenatal vitamins.

high WBC means your body is fighting off an infection, while low RBC means there's a chance you may become anemic later on in your pregnancy as you need to share blood with your foetus. best is to follow up with your gynae on your test results....
