Can I add spinach to my 9 months old baby's porridge everyday?

I add spinach in addition to other ingredients such as carrot, pumpkin, meat (pork chicken or fish). Will having spinach everyday be harmful to baby? Heard that spinach is high in nitrates.

Too much spinach can cause diarrhea or loose stools. So maybe do it on alternate days or once every few days. At least 1 veg per day is good enough for baby’s developing disgestive system. If you have carrot already, don’t need to add spinach. 1 meat, 1 veg, 1 carb, 1 fruit is ideal.

Can let baby try different types of veg like broccoli. I let mine eat cauliflower, mushrooms, tomato and capsicum (skin removed) so baby can get used to different taste, smell and texture of the veggies.

Hey mama, spinach is fine although Im usually cautious about how stringy it can get. Why not try something like pumpkin or avacado since they can be mashed pretty well?

I think you'll have to enquire with your PD because some vegetables are unsafe to consume on a daily basis (for babies).

I let my 2 year old son tried spinach for the first time and the next day he fell ill 🤷‍♀️

I believe might not be ideal.. everything in moderation.
