I am 36th week pregnant and in the ultra sound scan it was noticed that A loop of umberical cord is found around the neck of baby during the time of scanning. And my EDD is 25/12/19. Does it cause any prblm as I have still 20 days time for delivery?
Just monitor baby’s movements for now:) This is not uncommon so as long as the rest of the scan was ok, don’t worry too much. During labour, they’ll need to monitor baby closely to ensure baby’s not in distress. Once the head is delivered, they will uncoil the cord before cutting it.
