Safe to travel at 35 weeks?

My husband told me to get my last getaway before I pop. Is it okay to go to desaru for 2d1n at this stage? Any mummies tried before?

Personally I would play it safe and not go because: - last tri I would probably be cautious about the things I do/eat - the drive to desaru is not the shortest. Can you endure such a long ride (to & fro)? - touch wood but should anything happen along the way or while you’re there, would quality medical facilities be readily available? Call me a an over thinker, but if I had already gone thru 35 weeks of pregnancy, I wouldn’t want to put myself in any unnecessary risk at the final few weeks. Ask yourself if the benefits of the 2d1n is worth the cost. I’m all for your hubs pampering you before giving birth! Good intentions ❤️ can also splurge on prenatal massages, staycation locally, etc!

I went into Jb for last round of baby shopping at 32weeks. I would say my biggest worry (based on my personal experience) during the car ride was actually the feel to wanting to pee every 20m😅 as u know in the last trim baby will keep pushing against our internal organs and our bladder really feel like need to pee so often! I was stuck in the causeway jam for almost 2hrs and in my mind I was just hoping to go toilet asap lol

It’s better to consult your gynae before going. You need to get the approval letter from your gynae before traveling as well.

I personally won’t risk it even if it’s 2 days 1 night because might pop anytime.

Better ask your gynae first and get letter of approval as well just in case
