Toddler nt pronouncing words

My husband keep thinking is my fault that my 2.5 year old is not speaking properly. Like he can babble a lot and pronounce certain numbers and alphabets and a few words. He will be gg for speech therapy next month. Why is it my fault when everything doesn’t go well?

i understand you. my son is abt your kid's age and we're going through the same thing. im currently sending him to speech therapy too.
