Attend wedding

Hello! My husband’s cousin is getting married in June, and now I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant. We were told by the Chinese wedding shop owner not to attend any wedding as they afraid it clash 囍冲囍 especially because I got pregnant just before my wedding two months ago so is like 囍囍冲囍。 I only heard about can’t attend funeral 红白相冲 but not for wedding. Do we really have to follow the elderly saying? Anyone experiencing the same before? Thank you!

my sis didnt belief and attnded both black n white events. well. its up to u to believe it or not. she coincidentally had a mc. no one will know the exact cause whether is it her not believing in such superstition or is it cause she aint healthy.

better to check with the bride and groom, if they feel comfortable with it there's no issue. if you still feel concerned then just don't attend lor.

I attend wedding when I was 3 months pregnant . Dun really heard of any elderly saying
