How is a mother bad for not breastfeeding? Does it then mean that all fathers, grandparents and relatives are bad because they don’t breastfeed the baby, even if they love the baby in other ways? Your role as a mother is to love and raise your child well. This can be done in many ways. Yes, breastfeeding and providing maternal milk is one way. But a formula-fed baby is not any less loved. Baby’s still well fed and happy. So love your little one fiercely, and if anyone tries to put you down for not breastfeeding, just smile and say, “My baby’s happy and healthy, and that’s what matters.”
