It really depends on how often baby uses his pacifier. The more he suckles on it, the more likely you are to replace it at a faster rate. Also, it is important monitor the pacifiers for wear and tear, even if baby doesn't use them as often. You should replace the pacifier if you notice any tears, holes and discolouration. If the teat of the pacifier remains sticky even after wash, then it's time to throw it away. Check that the base of the pacifier and the teat are stable, because if they are not, the pacifier might break apart in baby's mouth and cause choking.
