newborn sleep pattern

How much shld my newborn be sleeping per day. LO has been sleeping after each feeding time. LO has jaundice since birth, does jaundice cause baby to be sleepy all the time.

How many days old? Jaundice does made baby sleepy. If lo still wake up regularly for feed, then it is fine. If not, have to wake lo every 3 hours to feed.

Yes yes. Nb are supposed to spend most of their time sleeping cos they still getting used to the environment. Once they reach about 3-4 weeks, the wake time will be longer. So treasure now and rest more.
