How to accept formula milk?
How do I guide my 2mo baby to drink formula? He accepts the bottle only if its breastmilk but will reject once he taste formula. My 1st born wasn't like this, so I don't know how to overcome this.
Try to mix with BM. For example if baby typically takes 150ml, can start off by making 50ml formula + 100ml BM. Gradually increase the proportion for FM. My baby eventually takes the full FM aft 2 wks or so.
If he reject, then you don’t feed. Once hungry , will drink. That’s what my fren do when her baby reject her frozen bm (cos if metallic taste).
I also transiting, but she doesn’t like total FM. She is 10 months now
try different brand, sometimes they don't like the taste of milk
Maybe can try different brand? Or mix with bm? Like 50-50?
You have to keep trying, change another fm and try again
can try another brand or wait till baby is very hungry
Try giving when baby is super hungry
get someone else to feed the formula
maybe try other dif brand?
