How to help father to get along with their kids?

Some simple thing my hub do with the kids and he bond well instead of me everything bond with the kids. (Maybe to them, daddy is going to play with them) Bonding through activities. Bring them down for playgrounds (i assuming they are still young) Do things that mummies seldom do with them like maybe bring for ice-cream once awhile. Accompany kids playing their toys together. (Some toys like lego, magformers is suitable for adults and children playing together) Go out more often together as family, to park or anywhere, don't use phone, bond together thru activities.
