how do u feed ur LO if there's no high chair

If it's outdoors where I really have no high chair, sit on lap and feed. I try to avoid that as it will get super messy. If it is at my parents place, we suffered thru that for a while and decided to get a high chair from IKEA to put there permanently since we go there weekly.
