Baby swimming classes

How early did you get your little one started? Is it actually a waste of money?

would advise to start sending before 18months if keen. takes a few sessions for kid to get used to it. I've sent my kid at 18months (for 2 months of swimming) and she cried bloody murder but as compared to kids in the same class who started earlier, they seem more confident in the water. now kid is 3.5 yo and restarting swim classes, she's also more confident after her 2nd month and looks forward to lessons!

It depends on your LO actually. We sent twice at 6mo and 1yo but she still cries murder during both sessions so we stopped and didn’t sign for classes. Tried bringing my LO out for water activities and water parks after 1yo also cried murder.

She loves her baths and refuses to leave but hates water activities outdoors.. Definitely go for trial first or you can get those inflatable pool tub to get baby to get used to it first (mine hates that too).
