How do you deal with a 3-4yo who refuses to sleep early? (9pm) and sleeps only closer to 11pm? I'm thinking of making my LO exercise until she KO. Heh.

My 4 years old gal used to slp 11pm, after watching the 1030pm cartoon. I slowly move forward the timing by 10-15mins, then when she's ok, I move forward to another 10-15mins. So now she sleep before 1030pm and I'm ok with that.
Maybe you would like to accompany her to sleep first at 9pm. I have to accompany my girl into sleep before I can do my household chores at later night . They need sufficient sleep otherwise will be cranky on the next day!
You can start a routine like bedtime stories time & lights off for the whole house at 8:30pm. Enjoy the 30mins cosy bedtime stories time with your kid & slowly they will relax at your preferred bedtime hour & sleep early
If u prefer lo to sleep at 9pm, you need about 1 hour to let them wind down. Start milk at say 8pm, change, brush teeth and story time. By then they will take a while to totally fall asleep.
Set a fix sleeping routine, less active activity 1-2hours before sleeping so that their mind is relax .Close all tv or ipad n lay on bed together in a dim light room
Have to switch off all media and electronics and lights so your kids will know it's nighttime and bedtime and slowly fine tune the timing before 11pm is the best
ha ha my baby also the same I just get her tired with games so she will sleep a good thing about sleeping late when you are outside don't need to rush back
If possible, avoid ALL iphone ipad computer tv screens at night, when closer to bed time 9pm. Yes agree that exercise like swimming helps tire out LO
My son used to sleep at 11-12pm too, don't let him sleep at noon time. And as much as possible no gadgets. The let him have a warm milk before bed.
Thanks all, the problem is she doesn't quite differentiate 8pm from 10pm. And we have a big family so it's always quite active till 10+ pm.
