A diet that is low in fiber or contain an high amount of dairy products (such as yogurt or cheese) may also lead to constipation. If you think that you baby may be having constipation, you can try including the following to help: Barley or oatmeal cereals, prunes, peaches, plums, apricots, broccoli, beans, and Brussels sprouts. You can also get your baby to have a few sips of water (not too much though) to help "move things along".
