I felt the same as you too.. but after i took a 5 days off (3AL+2Wkend), switched off from work to spend time with myself and husband, i feel i can at least hold off till i give birth ^^ my only advice to you would be... focus on whats impt to you ♡

My leave is limited and I’ve used up almost all of my sick leaves due to the pregnancy. I’m glad you can hold off until you give birth :)

Hello dear! I’m totally the same.. Truly mentally exhausted from work especially with my job scope, travelling back and forth to work, insomnia, I feel like crying everyday… I plan to take HL from November onwards. Maybe you can do the same too!

I hear it’s hard to get HL if you’re under subsidy. I ended up resigning as I couldn’t handle the stress along with the travelling.. hope you’re able to hold off until you go on HL!

I resigned in early first trime as i was too mentally exhausted and did not enjoy the work im doing too. Discussed with spouse and he allowed me to. Don’t feel guilty about it, health and happiness is the most important.

Resign after maternity leave!! Atleast youll still get paid. No repercussion. Alot of mummies end up resigning after maternity leave. And depends on the gynae, you may even get hospital leave.

I ended up resigning. Couldn’t take the mental stress anymore and my boss isn’t so understanding of my pregnancy. But it’s okay, I’m putting my baby first..

I’m also in the same situation as you. Contemplating to quit, i’m counting down the working days to EDD, but i’m suffering everyday…just thinking of the maternity and money

If you can hold it, pls stay for the benefits and money. I ended up resigning as I couldn’t handle it anymore due to the headaches and exhaustion so I had to put myself first but if you can hold on, pls do so. The financial uncertainty is starting to scare me sigh

Request hospital leave from doctor? Try to explain your situation. Best is resign after taking maternity benefits. But if money is not an issue, you can resign whenever.

I’m under subsidy. I hear it’s harder to get HL unless your pregnancy is high risk and for those under subsidies. My appts are always at the end of the month and I can’t handle the workload anymore so I resigned..

Pls take care and not be overwhelmed and stess. Most importantly, eat a balanced diet and sleep well. Work can wait, health is most important.
