Has anyone send their kid on a flight as an unaccompanied minor? What airline did you use?

When I was 14, I moved to Australia to pursue higher education. Qantas ensured that unaccompanied minors were escorted through the airport and baggage security with an airline rep, and has seating arrangements specifically for unaccompanied minors on the plane. Upon landing, minors were escorted from the plane up to the arrivals gate. If I got stopped for a random bomb check in the airport (when I was below the age of 17), if I was alone, a Qantas rep had to be present when they patted me down as well. Here is more information on Qantas' website: http://www.qantas.com/travel/airlines/children-travelling-alone/global/en

I never let my kids travel on their own. But I know Singapore Airlines has this special services for children aged between 5 to 18 years old to travel without adult. But you have to notify the airlines before hand. You can read up the procedures to apply for this service from here https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/travel-information/travelling-with-children/ For other airlines, you might want to check their website or call them directly.

I sent my child only with quality airlines and business class. There were not many opportunities and I decided to seek help from https://businessclassconsolidator.com/ to help me choose an airline and order a business class ticket. It is important to me that the child is comfortable and safe.

SQ are really good with unaccompanied minor... ^_^ *was working for SQ for 8 years previously. Plus we use this service for 10year old couple of times.
