Constipation

Hai mummies, need some advice. My son now 1 year 4 month.. everytime poop mesti nangis, tak kisah la poop dia lembut or keras.. mesti nangis.. lepas poop dah hbs keluar, then okay.. is that normal? Sometime constipation juga sebab poop dia mula2 keras,and toward ending lembut.. ada ka ini sebab kurang minum air? Or pemakanan?
