Hi mommy! High level is bad for baby. Can lead to kernicterus and seizures. But babies also have physiologic jaundice which starts at more than 24 hrs of life, peaks at 3-5 days then disappears. If your baby is exclusively breastfeed, best to expose to daily morning sunlight 30 mins a day front and back fully unclothed except diaper then give baby a good bath after. However there is also pathologic jaundice which starts at less than 24 hrs and lasts for more than 2 weeks. You have to have your baby checked of this is the case. There is also breastfeeding jaundice meaning baby's intake is not enough. And breastmilk jaundice which is due to an enzyme in the breastmilk.

Yes. That's possible. Kaya kailangan paarawan ang babies everyday. If malala ang jaundice (paninilaw), kailangan na sya i-phototheraphy sa ospital. Meaning, kailangan sya i-confine.

Yun na po ang di ko alam. :( Yung anak ko kasi nagamot ng phototherapy. :(
