Positive Group B Strep
Just got my result for Group B Strep at 37 Week. Any implications for baby during pregnancy & after labour? Very worried😭

It is normally harmless however this can be pass on to little one during labour when they pass through vaginal birth. This can make them very ill in the long/short term hence the requirement for all preggy mummies to do GBS test nearer to date. You can consult doctor and perhaps they can prescribe you with antibiotic. This is mainly common in preggy mummies. Dont be disheartened but instead seek advice from your gynae/doctor.
