My period is still not back yet

My girl is now 19 months old and I still have not had my period yet. I am still breastfeeding though. Is this normal? What is the longest time that you Mommies went without having a period after giving birth? And does this mean I'm not able to conceive baby #2 anytime soon?

i have 3 kids. and all pregnancy i breastfeed, 6mnths, 5mnths and 10mnths respectively.. but my period came anyways... down at 3rd mnth of bf... 🙄 so i really dont know whats nornal or not. but what i do know is... diff people varys. my cousin didnt get her period for 2 yrs. then once she stop bf, she had her period and got pregnant again... and again her bf for another 2 yrs and now its normal flow... if u are ever concern. always chk with your doctor

At times, the post-partum amenorrhoea lasts over a year. It depends on many factors, including your age, breastfeeding, and hormonal status among other things. If you are trying to have a baby, it is best to consult an ob about it.
