New vs Hand-me-down

A FTM here. Just want to know do you prefer everything new for your baby or will you accept hand me downs ie clothes and such?

Bought new ones for my one and only Busby. She has outgrown most of it and I bless to other another mummy. Most of her clothes she only wear it twice
